Pieter Dorrestein to receive American Society of Pharmacognosy's Matt Suffness Award

Pieter Dorrestein has been chosen receive the 2011 Matt Suffness Young Investigators Symposium Award from the American Society of Pharmacognosy. The award is intended to recognize the contributions of younger natural product scientists, and to provide a special, timely forum for them to present results from their research at the annual ASP meeting. Dorrestein is an Associate Professor in the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UCSD.
