Professor Emeritus Joseph Kraut

Professor Emeritus Joseph "Joe" Kraut, one of Americas premier protein crystallographers, died Friday, May 25th, at the age of 85. He was one of the first practitioners of what was in the 1950s the new science of protein crystallography. Hired at UCSD in 1962 he retired in 1994 but was recalled as a Research Professor through 1996. Memorial information will be posted as it becomes available.
