Five Chemistry and Biochemistry students awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowships

We proudly announce that the National Science Foundation has selected five Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry students to receive 2013 Graduate Research Fellowships: Brandon Barnett (Figueroa Lab), Steven Chabolla (joint, Kubiak and Tezcan Labs), Charles Mokhtarzahed (Figueroa Lab), Joel Rivera (Continetti Lab), and Lane Votapka (Amaro Lab). Also, the following Chemistry and Biochemistry graduate students received honorable mentions: Derek Rhoades (Nicolaou Lab), Mark Reineke (Kubiak Lab), Jessica Peters (Toor Lab), Lewis Churchfield (Tezcan Lab), and Andrea Carlini (Gianneschi Lab).
