Francesco Paesani Wins the ACS 2016 Early Career Award in Theoretical Chemistry
The Physical Chemistry Division (PHYS) of The American Chemical Society (ACS) selected Francesco Paesani, Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UC San Diego as the 2016 recipient of the Early Career Award (ECA) in Theoretical Chemistry. PHYS annually sponsors the ECA to recognize the most outstanding scientific achievements of its members. Paesani was selected for his development of a rigorous theoretical method for simulating aqueous systems from the gas to the condensed phase, with chemical and spectroscopic accuracy. He will be honored during a special awards symposium at the Fall 2016 ACS National Meeting in Philadelphia. Congratulations Professor Paesani!
