Professor Rommie Amaro named the Kurt Shuler Faculty Scholar in Physical Chemistry

Professor Rommie Amaro has been named the Kurt Shuler Faculty Scholar in Physical Chemistry for 2016-2021. Scholar Awards in each of the department’s four divisions were inaugurated in 2006. Each award is to be held for a 5-year term, not immediately renewable. Faculty members who do not currently hold an endowed chair or the title of Distinguished Professor (Professor, Above Scale) are eligible to be awarded a named scholarship.
