Professor Neal Devaraj receives 2017 HFSP Award
Professor Neal Devaraj has been awarded a 2017 The Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) research grant. HFSP supports novel, innovative and interdisciplinary basic research focused on the complex mechanisms of living organisms. Research is funded at all levels of biological complexity from biomolecules to the interactions between organisms. Prof. Devaraj’s lab will collaborate with an international team of researchers in Spain and Japan to develop synthetic cells containing artificial cytoskeletons. Worldwide, 30 grants were awarded from a total of 1073 letters of intent.
