Professor Jerry Yang receives 2008 Alzheimer's Association New Investigator Award
Prof. Jerry Yang has been selected by the Alzheimer's Association to receive a 2008 New Investigator Award. The award provides $100,000 to support the early career development of young investigators who are no more than 10 years past their doctoral degree.
Prof. Yang's award will be used to explore methods to chemically degrade aggregated A² peptides, which play a major role in Alzheimer's Disease.
