Department Summer Research Fellowship Opportunities

Charles L. Perrin Summer Fellowship

This merit-based fellowship recognizes students who show promise as future scientists through their participation in undergraduate chemistry research at UC San Diego. The fellowship is intended to provide support for continuation of their research in summer under the mentorship of a Chemistry professor. (Time commitment will be based on mutual agreement with the faculty mentor.)

ELIGIBILITY:
• Registered UCSD undergraduate, with a major within the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Able to continue research through Summer 2022
• Successful participation in a research experience with a Chemistry/Biochemistry faculty member through enrollment in CHEM 199

Please note the following: Research on campus during the summer will be contingent on public health directives surrounding COVID-19.

Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Summer Research Fellowship

This merit-based fellowship recognizes students who show promise as future scientists through their participation in undergraduate chemistry research at UC San Diego. The fellowship ($1,000 award per student) is intended to provide support for the continuation of their research in summer under the mentorship of a Chemistry professor. (Time commitment will be based on mutual agreement with the faculty mentor.)

ELIGIBILITY:
• Registered UCSD undergraduate, with a major within the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Able to conduct in research during Summer 2022
• Successful participation in a research experience with a Chemistry/Biochemistry faculty member through previous enrollment in CHEM 199
